The glass was formed from multiple slices of colored glass that the artist fused together and polished. Each piece is completely unique and the patterns vary slightly from the butterfly that is pictured. The butterfly is shipped in its own plush black velvet pouch along with a small booklet that explains how millefiori is hand crafted in Venice, Italy.
